Leah Dizon - an American celebrity famous in Japan. Born in Las Vegas to French-American and Chinese-Filipino parents, Leah became a celebrity after being offered a contract in Japan at the age of 19. A so-called 'gravure model', which in Japan apparently means a model who does a variety of modelling-style gigs, from swimsuit or kimono modelling to, presumably, hanging off of cars like in the picture shown above. Gravure models are just kind of famous for being famous. Anyway, in addition to that, Leah has been a host on Japanese TV and has released several CDs in Japan.

Leah Rabin – the widow of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Born in 1928 in Konigsberg, which at that time was the easternmost point of Germany and is now the westernmost point of Russia, Leah moved to what would eventually be Israel when she was five. She married Yitzhak in 1948, the year Israel declared independence. As first lady, she was involved in a scandal involving a bank account in US Dollars, something that at the time was illegal in Israel. When Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated in 1995, Leah continued his efforts for peace. She died of lung cancer five years after her husband, though her daughter Dalia continued in Israeli politics.
